A Coach's Testimony
Besides the stats on the form I believe there are quite a few others that are important.

Parents informing me that their child is now running to the administration office to check on their own grades because they are concerned with being able to compete (grades are improving).

Parents, and their kids that have medical problems that have prevented them from competing in other sports, have finally found an activity that their child can participate in.

Kids that have never socialized are opening up.  Kids that are physically or mentally challenged have been able to perform the sport of bowling whereas other sports they could not. Their self-esteem is growing and they are feeling a welcomed participant.

Respectfully submitted

Bill Bengston

IT'S HARD TO BE BETTER THAN NUMBER ONE!
We all know someone who's big on the gloom and doom; they're in every industry.  But if they're in the bowling business, just hit them with a few telling statistics, starting with the fact that bowling once again tops the list of America's favorite participation sports based on data gathered by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association International.  According to the SGMA, 55 million people (age 6 or over) went bowling last year -- nearly 10 million more participants than the No. 2 activity, treadmill exercise, had.
