1) Graduating Senior
Boys Only
2) Member in good
standing on the team
3) GPA satisfactory for competition at their high school
4) Competed in 50% of
school’s competition as a member of the varsity team
5) Attends practices
regularly
6) Athlete knows how
to keep score, observes bowling etiquette and sportsmanship|
The coach will select
recipient(s) in conjunction with the athletic director.
The coach must inform
the Iowa High School Bowling Federation of the winner(s) by May 1.
A sample press
release will be sent to the coach.
If there is no
qualified athlete, no scholarship will be awarded this year.
The Iowa High School
Bowling Federation will administer all funds and make disbursements.
Upon the scholarship recipient’s written request, funds will be
disbursed to approved educational institutions. Each scholarship
recipient will have up to 24 months following graduation from high
school to claim their scholarship award.
